There’s been quite a bit of progress on the layout at the Fran Ryan recreation center. You should stop in to take a look, we would love to see you and chat about model railroading!
Just about all of the track has been laid at this point. While there are still some kinks being worked out, most all of the layout is powered and ready to run trains. There are some small changes being made as folks stop in and run different trains on the layout. Recently we found a corner that needed to be widened a bit to handle a rather long six axle engine. We still need to connect our mountain mine to the main line as seen below.
Most everything has power, other than buildings and other landscape/town features. We’re even wiring in some slick crossover switches as shown below.
Industry and town areas are beginning to shape up and be placed on the layout, it’s really starting to look like a layout now! Checkout this cool roundhouse!
